About Fabricati Diem

·2 mins
“Independent cybersecurity commentary. No fluff. No spin. Just signal.”

Fabricati Diem exists to do one thing well: offer a fiercely independent platform for cybersecurity professionals to share informed, unfiltered, and occasionally uncomfortable truths.

This blog is the spiritual successor to a previous endeavor that, due to a series of events best left to whispered conversations over coffee (or pastis), is no longer with us. We won’t dwell on the past, but we will say this: when the signal gets too strong, some people reach for the plug.

Our guiding principle is Public Exposure — a term I coined to describe the kind of internet exposure that doesn’t come with a CVE but needs to be treated with similar gravity. It’s about putting things out there for scrutiny, discussion, and the kind of collective insight that makes the industry better. We believe sunlight is still the best disinfectant, even if it occasionally gives certain boardrooms a rash.

But this isn’t just a place for war stories and subtle digs. It’s a space for clarity, curiosity, and community. Whether you’re a seasoned red teamer, a blue teamer with battle scars, or someone just starting to explore the perimeter, you’re welcome here.

Here you’ll find:

  • Guest posts from respected voices in the field (see the Authors page).
  • Thoughtful commentary on emerging threats and trends.
  • The occasional rant, always well-aimed.

We’re not here to be edgy for the sake of it. We’re here to challenge assumptions, share knowledge, and maybe even have a laugh while we’re at it.

Curious about contributing? We’ve got a write-for-us page with everything you need to know.

Welcome to the Watch. Mind the tripwires.

Fabricati Diem is currently run by one slightly overcaffeinated human, with contributions from a growing network of like-minded professionals. When we say “we,” we mean the community — and you’re invited.
